OverView

Vow Of Offering is an atmospheric experience game blending puzzle-solving and adventure narrative. The story begins with a “mysterious ritual performed by the grandfather,” leading the player into a supernatural realm of survival. In the mirror-reflection level, mirrors are used to create “shadow paths” to evade ghosts while collecting altar items to complete the ritual. In the garage puzzle level, players assemble a Buddha statue in first-person view, then transition into an intense FPS combat phase, forming a cross-genre fusion of puzzle exploration and battle pacing.

My Responsibilities

  • Independently designed two core levels.

  • Programmed and implemented the “mirror reflection shadow” gameplay.

  • Developed AI following and laser detection systems.

  • Built visual puzzle mechanics.

  • Coded FPS combat module.

  • Optimized hit detection and camera shake parameters to enhance immersion and combat feedback.

  • Conducted three rounds of user testing, iterating and refining the gameplay.
